Extension to deadline for Preliminary Entries. June 30th, 2022.
On April 1st, we sent you all a reminder about deadline for the Preliminary Entry Forms for the Amazing Thailand World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. That deadline (April 15th) is now past, and we are very excited that we have athletes from 41 Member Federations already signed up.
Several other MFs, while interested, are still unable to commit to plans for the competition in Thailand due to the current situation in Europe and still some uncertainties about the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have, therefore, decided to extend the deadline for PEFs until the end of June hoping that uncertainty is further reduced.
Federations should be reassured that Thailand is now open for business and that anyone who is fully vaccinated can enter the country without any need for quarantine. If any federations have any further questions regarding entry to Thailand including visas etc the Local Organising Committee (secretariat@wmtrc2021thailand.com) are very happy to hear from you.
With the PEF deadline now extended to June 30th, this will provide the opportunity for Federations to resolve any outstanding queries, and also for those Federations who have already submitted their PEF, to revisit their PEF entries as changes can be made.
When the LOC receives the PEF from you, they will issue you with all the details about the accommodation that you can reserve for your teams. The PEF can be downloaded from the website https://wmtrc2021thailand.com/ but or your convenience I am also attaching a copy of the updatedPEF to this letter for completion.
